As college students, life is already stressful. Add a global pandemic to the mix, and now we’re facing a new reality that no one was prepared for. We all need some relief, so here are some tips for doing just that.
Clean Your Room
Clean space, clean mind. Make your bed, do your laundry, and take out the trash. Being in a clean room will instantly make you feel less cluttered, and ultimately, less stressed. Plus, it’s one more thing that you can check off your to-do list.
Take A Walk
Get your legs pumping and catch a breath of fresh air! Something as simple as stepping out into the sunshine will take your mind off your studies. We all need a break from thinking about school 24/7, and exercise is not only good for your body but an excellent mental outlet as well.
Call A Loved One
Whether it be a parent, friend, or neighbor, hearing a loved one’s voice is a fantastic distraction. Talking things out can be the ultimate stress relief; your loved ones are there for you through thick and thin.
Thank Yourself
Most importantly, thank your body, mind, and spirit for getting you through challenging times. You can always count on yourself to power through!
